Director Asset and Property Management
Jean Meilinger has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with a career that has focused on property/facility management, asset and property management.
As a leader in the real estate industry Meilinger has held key senior positions. As the Vice President of Property Management for Transwestern Commercial Services, Midwest Region, she grew the Management Services division from approximately 500,000 square feet to 7.0 million square feet, while expanding its capabilities to medical office buildings and research centers. As the Portfolio Manager for Golub and Company, she held full oversight responsibility for an eleven property commercial portfolio encompassing 2.3 million square feet over a four state region. During her tenure at Golub she successfully repositioned a five-property portfolio increasing its asset value by lowering operating expenses and implementing an aggressive leasing program.
During Meilinger's extensive real estate career, she has successfully served a range of real estate partnerships, developers and institutional owners, including multi-national organizations.
Meilinger is an active member of CREW Chicago (Commercial Real Estate Executive Women), where she serves on the board of directors. She is a Chairperson of the BOMA Chicago (Building Owners and Managers Association) Education Committee, works with Roosevelt University's School of Real Estate and The Joseph and Joyce Freed Tomorrow's Leaders in Real Estate Initiative, while serving on the Auxiliary Board of Chicago Children's Advocacy Center.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado and holds the BOMI designation of Real Property Administrator.
